About The Film
About The Filmmaker
I am an award-winning filmmaker and animator with a BFA degree in Illustration/Animation from California State University Long Beach.
For as long as I can recall, drawing has been a huge component of my life. After creating a festival winning animated music video during my senior year of high school, I knew animation was my career.
During my time at CSULB, I was heavily involved in the program. I was a manager of the department computer lab, co-organizer of the international animation competition 24 Hours Animation Contest, and the leading voice that organized the animation programs’ first off-campus thesis screening, Double Exposure. In addition to my dedication to the program, I also directed my award-winning and 2019 Student Academy Finalist thesis film, Push.
Professionally, I have collaborated with various artists and have interned twice as an Animation intern at Pixar Animation Studios and contributed as a Crowds/Fix Animator on Onward. I currently work at a startup animation studio and continue to freelance with my small team called Loud Bird Productions.
My current breadth of work consists of animated music videos and shorts both personal and client requested. On the off-chance I’m not working --or in quarantine for a global pandemic, I can be found hiking, seeking my next delicious meal, or teaching high schoolers how to spin a baton.
